Watching A Burning Sky is a melodic metalcore band formed in Rome (October 2009). The band was initially started by Flavio Ranucci on drums, Julien Pani on lead guitar and Claudio Ruggieri on vocals. In November, Claudio "Shippo" Saracini joined the band on bass. After months of search, the band completed the lineup with Emanuele Della Sala on rhythm guitar (June 2010). After some live shows and two recorded songs, in June 2011, Shippo left the band for personal motivations, and Icko started to play with them.
Watching A Burning Sky's sound is a mix of technical guitar riffs, violent breakdowns and melodic interludes, also their songs are alternated between heavy tracks and ballads. At the moment, the songwriting sessions for the brand new EP are still in progress.
