Il gruppo nasce nel febbraio del 2009 ,inizialmente con una formazione composta da sei membri, Michele Pellegrino (guitars), Giancarlo Teot (bass) Giuseppe Montemurno (guitars) Giuseppe Basile (guitars) Nicola Montemurno (drums) Giovanni Fiorenza (vocals) , e attualmente da cinque dopo l'abbandono del chitarrista Michele Pellegrino. La band nel corso degli anni ha subito alcune trasformazioni, sia per quanto riguarda il genere sia i componenti. Con voglia di fare e di migliorare, i Blackmail si sono cimentati in molte serate , imparando a reggere il confronto con altre band e ad instaurare un rapporto con il pubblico. Dopo il periodo iniziale, caratterizzato dalla coverizzazione di bands thrash and heavy metal, principalmente Iron Maiden , Metallica, Pantera, la band si è definitivamente stabilita in seguito ad una sostituzione del chitarrista Giuseppe Basile e del bassista Giancarlo Teot i quali sono stati rispettivamente sostituiti da Michele Forte e Roberto Micunco, e si sta cimentando nella composizione di inediti per la prossima registrazione di una demo e di un disco.

The Band was founded in February of 2009, initially with a formation composed by six members, Michele Pellegrino (guitars), Giancarlo Teot (bass) Giuseppe Montemurno (guitars) Giuseppe Basile (guitars) Montemurno Nicola (drums) Giovanni Fiorenza (vocals), and currently five after the abandonment of guitarist Michael Pellegrino. The band over the years has undergone some changes, both as regard genre,both as regard components. With a desire to do and improve, Blackmail have been challenging themselves into many evenings, learning to compare with other bands and to establish a rapport with the audience. After the initial period, characterized by coverization of thrash and heavy metal bands (mainly Iron Maiden, Metallica, Pantera) the band was finally established after a replacement of guitarist and bassist Giuseppe Basile and Giancarlo Teot, that were respectively replaced by Michael Forte and Roberto Micunco.the band is also venturing into the composition of unpublisheds in view of next recording a demo and an album.
